October 5 — The Chouteau McDonald's has "adopted" Winnetonka High School as its feature school for the national McTeacher's Night Program. Winnetonka teacher volunteers will "man" the windows from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 5. A percentage of profits earned during this time will go to support Winnetonka activities. October 9 — Winnetonka Vocal Music Parents' Assn. presents The Elders, Saturday, Oct. 9, at 7 p.m. in the Winnetonka High School auditorium, 5815 NE 48th Street. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. General admission is $15. For more information, call (816) 863-4166. Proceeds will be used to purchase choral risers for the Winnetonka concert stage.

PowerSchool Parent-Student Access
New this year, replacing ParentConnect, will be PowerSchool Parent-Student Access a program that allows parents/guardians and students to access a student's assignments, grades and attendance.

Students will access this information using their network login and password. Parents and guardians will all share a single auto-generated user name and password. Parents and guardians may pick up their access information during registration or any time after school begins in August. All must present themselves in person with a picture ID before a password will be released.
